Upper West Sweater
The Upper West Sweater is all about this cable motif - it’s both delicate and bold at the same time, with a deep, eye-catching texture. I’ve worked the transitions from hem to body and from sleeve to cuff to allow for a sweet little dip at the end of each cable and added a folded, picot collar that adds to the femininity of the sweater and gives it a bit of a cozy feel.
The deep Caramel color of this De Rerum Gilliatt yarn adds sophistication to the sweater and gives it a modern feel, and the gorgeous merino fiber really shows off the cables beautifully.
The Upper West Sweater is worked in the round from hem to armholes and then separated into front and back. Collar and sleeves are worked in the round, and collar is folded and seamed down..
Cables are both written and charted.
