One Scotch
One Scotch is my version of the basic ribbed cap. I had a little fun with two different rib patterns, but otherwise it’s about a simple cap in a gorgeous yarn and it’s a great excuse to use up leftovers in stash.

Yarn: Sample was knit with a light worsted, but a DK would also work well. You want a fiber with some elasticity on this one, so the rib can stretch as needed.
Gauge: 26sts/30 rows = 4”/10cm
Needles: US 6/4.0mm, US 5/3.75mm

Sizes based on circumfrence around head.
Yardage:
Approx. 150(160,175)yds of main color.
Varied yardage for stripes. This does not have to be exact, have fun with your stash!
