Luxardo

$8.00

Luxardo is a simple go-with-everything sweater, designed for easy summer knitting and wearing. I love the subtle color shifts in O-Wool’s balance yarn, and the classic detail here is perfect to show both the yarn and a bit of texture off beautifully. The sweater features lots of stockinette mixed with simple textured stripes - worked in deep bands on bottom and narrow bands up top. Visible shoulder seams, a delicate ribbing that plays with the first row of texture, and a shaped collar were the extra little details that I couldn’t resist, but overall this is a straightforward wardrobe basic that should match almost anything you want to toss on this summer.

The body is worked from the bottom up in the round to armhole. Front and back are then separated and worked flat to shoulder. Sleeve stitches are picked up around armhole and knit in the round to cuff. .
